Karmen came to Desert Paws in April 2012 as a mom with four beautiful kittens. Her kittens were all quickly adopted, but when her chance came she had trouble making it stick. Karmen was adopted to four separate families, and each time she was returned due to behavioral issues ranging from pottying outside of the litter box, to scratching up furniture, to not getting along with her animal roommates. She has been a permanent Sanctuary resident since her last return and has displayed zero of the aforementioned behavioral issues. We understand that new adopter may not want to deal with behavioral issues like Karmen has displayed in the past, and so we are happy to provide her with a healthy and safe place for her to live out her years!
