Desert Paws rescued Jake, and his brother Jessi, during the summer of 2015. They were both pretty fearful of humans at only 10-weeks old, but we hoped that some TLC would turn these two youngsters around. Despite our best efforts, neither cat really developed the social skills that we hoped for. We understand that cats who are shy of humans or "skiddish" aren't necessarily what new adopters are looking for. Jake gets along great with his foster-siblings, and so we are happy to provide him with a safe and healthy environment for him to live out his days.
