Noni is a gorgeous calico-tortoiseshell kitten with a half orange face and white markings on her chin, chest and feet. She looks a lot like her sister Nina, but it’s easy to tell them apart once you get to know them. They have similar personalities, though Noni is a little more elegant and reserved. She is especially friendly and loves to cuddle and snuggle. She is very playful and loves to play with her sister Nina. She is very inquisitive and can turn anything new she encounters into a toy. If they are not chasing each other in a rumble and tumble game of tag, they are nuzzled together taking a nap. Their purr motors start the minute you pick them up. Noni has already been spayed, has tested negative for FeLV (feline leukemia) / FIV (feline immune virus), has an identification micro-chip and is current on her vaccinations. If you are interested in giving Nina and Noni their forever homes, please fill out the cat consultation form (on the website www.desertpawsrescue.org) or email hadleyd@cox.net.

Noelle is a beautiful gray & white tuxedo kitten (notice those whiskers!). Her birthday is mid June. She’s very active and loves all kinds of toys. She carries soft toys and feather toys in her mouth, making funny noises so everyone knows she has her “prey.” A moment later, she’s busy playing with her littermates. She’s used to all kinds of scratchers – cardboard, sisal rope, and carpet and uses them regularly. She’s used to getting her nails clipped and doesn’t mind it too much. She’s great about using the litter box, even when she has access to the whole house. She’s friendly and likes to be held. She would love to be adopted with another kitten – especially one of her littermates: Nanette, Niles, Nimbus, Norris or Norton. There is nothing more entertaining than watching a couple of kittens play! She has already been spayed, has tested negative for FELV and FIV (feline immune virus), has an identification micro-chip, and is current on her vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting her, please fill out the cat consultation form (on the website www.desertpawsrescue.org) or email hadleyd@cox.net.

Nina is one of the most adorable kittens we have ever seen. She is a beautiful calico-tortoiseshell with very distinct orange and black “checker board” markings on her face and white markings on her chest and toes. She has the mottled orange markings on her back that are typical of a Tortie.
The combination of colors is absolutely stunning! She is very affectionate and loves attention. She is very playful and loves to play with her toys. She is especially close to her sister Noni (almost her twin). If they are not chasing each other in a game of “Mighty Cat Hunter” they are cuddled together taking a nap. Their purr motors start the minute you pick them up. Noni has already been spayed, has tested negative for FeLV (feline leukemia) / FIV (feline immune virus), has an identification micro-chip and is current on her vaccinations. Nina is such a sweet, friendly cat and what a wonderful mom to her kittens (and her “adopted son” Norton). She’s only about 1 year old and was abandoned at an apartment complex – her “owner” wouldn’t let her inside any more once it was obvious she was pregnant. Fortunately, a compassionate neighbor noticed what was going on and brought Nina to her apartment so she could have her kittens inside – safely and stress-free. Nina and her family have been a delight to foster – she has excellent litter box habits and trained her kittens very well. She gets along with all the cats, kittens and dogs in our home and is very well-behaved about scratching – she really goes to town on the horizontal cardboard scratchers. She is quiet and unassuming, but quite playful too. She just loves to be close to you.

Nimbus is an adorable silver-gray kitten with a faint swirl pattern in his fur, born in mid June. His personality is nothing like the gray cloud he’s named after – he’s a fun-loving, very playful and friendly kitten. He’s the biggest and sweetest of his litter. He loves to be held and purrs when he sees you. His favorite toy is the turbo scratcher. Nimbus has excellent litter box habits and also uses all kinds of scratchers – cardboard, sisal rope, and carpet. He’s used to getting his nails clipped and being brushed. He’s a sweet little guy who will make his new family very happy. He would love to be adopted with another kitten – especially one of his littermates: Nanette, Niles, Noelle, Norris or Norton. After all, there is nothing more entertaining than watching a couple of kittens play! He has already been neutered, has tested negative for FELV and FIV (feline immune virus), has an identification micro-chip, and is current on his vaccinations. If you are interested in giving him his forever home, please fill out the cat consultation form (on the website www.desertpawsrescue.org) or email hadleyd@cox.net.

Niles is a very handsome gray & white kitten born (to Nina) in mid June. His tail is very fluffy and his fur is between short and medium-length. What a personality! He acts like he wants nothing more from life than to run, play and chase his littermates, but once you’ve got him in your arms he’s content to stay there. He’s used to all kinds of scratchers – cardboard, sisal rope, and carpet and uses them regularly. He’ll sit still to get his nails clipped but would rather be playing. He’s great about using the litter box, and he has access to the whole house. He would love to be adopted with another kitten so he'd have someone to play and snuggle with. There is nothing more entertaining than watching a couple of kittens play! Actually, being adopted with his mom Nina would be a great idea too - she's not much older than he is, and they play together and are with each other ALL the time. (He's a mama's boy!) Niles has already been neutered, has tested negative for FELV and FIV (feline immune virus), has an identification micro-chip, and is current on his vaccinations. If you are interested in giving Niles his forever home, please fill out the cat consultation form (on the website www.desertpawsrescue.org) or email hadleyd@cox.net.

Nikko is about 14 weeks old, probably born at the end of July. His luxurious fur is medium-length smoky black with a charcoal undercoat. He’s going to be a big kitty, judging from his “tree trunk” legs and large feet. He’s probably a Maine Coon or Norwegian Forest Cat mix. He’s used to having his beautiful fur brushed and combed and is very patient while getting his nails trimmed. Nikko is super sweet and loves to be held like a baby – on his back in your arms. He purrs like crazy the moment he lays eyes on you. He’s very playful and is great with other kittens, cats, and the cat-friendly dogs (medium and large) at his foster home. He’s an easy-going kitten – he settled in very quickly at his foster home. His favorite spot to nap during the day is a perch on the cat tree, preferably with one of his feline friends. Otherwise, he’s happy to nap on your lap or next to you on the couch. He’s been trained to scratch on appropriate surfaces and has a perfect record using the litter box. One of his favorite toys is a turbo scratcher with the cardboard scratcher in the middle. He also loves chasing feathers at the end of a wand toy, which is a great way to bond with him. He’ll be a wonderful addition to a lucky family. He has already been neutered, has tested negative for FELV and FIV (feline immune virus), has an identification micro-chip, and is current on his vaccinations. If you are interested in giving Nikko his forever home, please fill out the cat consultation form (on the website www.desertpawsrescue.org) or email hadleyd@cox.net.
