GOOD WITH DOGS! Zoey is a cute, sweet and gentle little dilute tortoise shell who was so happy to be rescued. She had been an indoor kitty for the first several months of her life until her family moved and took the dog, but left her and her three siblings behind...inside their home with no food or water! When the manager entered the home, she and her three siblings ran out. They sat on the porch waiting for someone to come home, until they were rescued. And boy were they hungry! Zoey is doing fine today and anxious to find her forever home, where she can live safely and happily the rest of her days. Please email her foster mom for more information about Zoey or her siblings at catlover1960@live.com .
Zoey (aka Chipsn’dip) is an absolutely beautiful German Shepherd mix puppy who is about 5 months old. She was rescued from the pound just in time. We are so happy we saved her, Zoey is a super pup and is going to make a great addition to a loving family! There are so many good things to say about this girl………….she has a very mellow, happy-go-lucky attitude, learns VERY fast and aims to please, is fantastic with other dogs, should be good with children too – no mouthy puppy behavior and doesn’t play rough, is good in the house and is very quiet. Zoey is doing excellent with her housetraining and so far only had one accident and that was when she did not have access to the outside. Please remember though, she is still a puppy. Zoey gets very warm with her black fur and will need to be primarily inside, except to play and potty. She is also going to be a large dog………so if you love German Shepherd’s – she’s the girl for you!
Zipper is a cute, 8 week old kitten. He will be ready for adoption on May 23rd and would love to be adopted with one of his siblings. When Zipper was first born, he contracted a virus from him mother which made his eyes get yucky, while they are almost 100% better, his right eye is still a bit cloudy and will probably always be that way. He is not blind though and it won't cause any problems in the future.
To adopt Zipper, please visit www.desertpawsrescue.org and fill out the cat consult form.
Only 6 months old, Zany is a thoroughly spoiled tuxedo kitten who loves to play. He has made an incredible transition from a shy kitten who hid whenever anyone came into the room to a confident little guy who responds to loving attention with purrs and nuzzles. Racing around the house playing with the other cats, investigating or entertaining himself with toys, Zany is a delight. When he finally tires, he loves to snuggle up next to you or go to sleep in your lap. He is looking for a loving home, preferably with a playmate.
He is neutered, vaccinated, tested for feline leukemia/FIV, microchipped, and has 30 days of pet insurance.
Please email his foster dad at wbegun@gmail.com for more info on adopting Zany.
This cutie pie is XANDER! He is just about 4 ½ to 5 months old. We believe him to be a coated Xolo mix. Xolo or Xoloitzcuintli , is also known as a Mexican Hairless. They come hairless and coated. You can read more about Xolo’s at this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xoloitzcuintli . Little Xander was rescued from the county pound where his days were limited and his future was bleak. We are so glad to have saved this happy-go-lucky boy just in the nick of time! Xander is a silly, sweet, smart and super cool boy! He is a puppy and has lots of puppy energy! Xander started using the doggie door within the first hour of coming to his foster home. He uses the doggie door like a champ and along with frequent trips outside has not had an accident yet. He is still a puppy though and will continue to need supervision and training. He still pees like a girl – so no marking for this boy! Xander likes to be around other dogs and would certainly love an active playmate or two. With his friendly disposition he would probably do good with older kids as well. We are not sure about kitties yet, as he has not met any. Like many puppies, Xander does like to find things around the house and move them around. He needs to learn what toys are his and what things are not He is quiet most of the time and usually only barks if ready to play or if he sees something he is not quite sure about. He loves to be around his people but he is not super needy. He loves to explore the house and new things, look out the window and run around the yard. He also loves to be petted, is fine with being held and is very easy to handle. Xander just weighed in at 11 ½ pounds and should not grow too much larger. He has a nice, sleek easy to care for coat. This little puppy is looking for a loving family to call his own. He promises to bring lots of fun and laughter to your life! If you are interested in Xander, please email his foster mom at azdesertdogz@cox.net and she would be happy to tell you all about him!

Wally and Beau were 2 great kittens. They were lucky enough to get adopted together! Here is a note from their "New" mom....Just wanted to let you know that Wally and Beau are adjusting beautifully to us and their new home :-) They are just the cutest two kitties ever :-) LOL Even though I have a little bed for them, they have found numerous nooks and crannies to sleep in, you never know where they're going to pop out from :-) And they're very happy and have bonded with us very well.....they love playing with each other and the other cats are getting used to them little by little....we're so happy to have them in our family :-)
