He has already been neutered, has tested negative for FELV and FIV (feline immune virus), has an identification micro-chip, and is current on his vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting him, please fill out the cat consultation form (on the website www.desertpawsrescue.org) or email hadleyd@cox.net.

Alejandro and Chainsaw are 8 week old male and female tabby kitten. They were living with their feral mother at a business where they were trapped and brought to us. Alejandro is a white, black and tan male, he is very friendly and loves to sit on your lap and be petted. Chainsaw is still worried about what people have on their mind. Her first instinct is to run, but she has come a long way. She still needs some convincing that people are okay, but with help from her brother and a patient person, she will get there. This brother and sister need to be adopted together. They play together, sleep together and are great companions. They have already been spayed and neutered, have tested negative for FELV and FIV (feline immune virus), have identification micro-chips, and is current on their vaccinations. If you are interested in giving Chainsaw and Alijandro their forever home, please fill out the cat consultation form (on the website www.desertpawsrescue.org) or email hadleyd@cox.net.

Alvin is an adorable 10-week-old Russian blue-mix kitten with white boots and chest. He had a rough start – when only a few weeks old, he was put in a cardboard box with his siblings and mom, and another mom and her litter and dumped in the backyard of an 81-year-old woman. He was timid at first (can you blame him?), but with lots of TLC and attention from two cat-savvy young girls and their friends, he’s decided that people are OKAY! He has a perfect record using the litter box and likes to scratch on a cardboard scratcher. He’s been exposed to cat-friendly dogs but has not interacted with them yet. Alvin would be happiest with another kitten or cat to bond with and to keep him company. He has already been neutered, has tested negative for FELV and FIV (feline immune virus), has an identification micro-chip, and is current on his vaccinations. If you are interested in giving Alvin his forever home, please fill out the cat consultation form (on the website www.desertpawsrescue.org) or email hadleyd@cox.net.

Amber (birthday October 2010) is a super-soft, super-sweet brown tabby female (with a cute orange spot on the top of her head). She purrs the instant she sees you and doesn’t stop until she falls asleep in your arms or on your lap – after plenty of playtime, that is! She and her (almost) identical twin brother Andrew lost their mother before they were weaned so were bottle-fed and because of that are extra-cuddly and love the attention of humans. She also loves the company of the other cats/kittens in her foster home, and the cat-friendly dogs too. She is very well-behaved – she’s allowed access to the entire house, and has never had an accident. She’s very good about scratching in the appropriate places (carpeted cat tree with sisal rope, cardboard scratchers) and sits very still when her nails are being trimmed. She would love to be adopted with her brother Andrew – two kittens are twice as much fun! Amber tested negative for FeLV and FIV, is spayed, micro-chipped, and current on vaccines. If you think Amber is the kitty for you, please fill out a Cat Adoption Consultation Form online or email tomdru1422@yahoo.com.
