Little Annie-6 toed kitten
Little Annie is a very special kitten. She was actually dumped off at a park and 2 teenage girls witnessed this and brought her home. She is now looking for a loving home where she will be loved for the rest of her life. Annie also is a polydactyl which means she has an extra toe on her two front paws. She loves to play and loves to be cuddled.
Little Annie has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV and she has unfortunately tested positive for feline leukemia. This is NOT a bad thing. The ideal home for Annie will be with other cats that have feline leukemia or a home with just dogs. Only other cats can get feline leukemia. Cats can actually live a very long time with the virus so we have chosen to give her that opportunity. We suspect that the virus was transmitted through her mother. So while we do not know how long Little Annie will live, we do know that she deserves the best possible life no matter how long or short it may be.
Here is a good website and article that explains the feline leukemia virus.

JJ
JJ is a super friendly guy. He showed up at a feral colony in Tempe looking for food even though he wasn't a feral. He is approx. 2-3 years old, with short hair. He is a very happy cat and he gets along great with other cats. He did test positive for FIV, but that really doesn't mean anything. He can live comfortably with other cats as long as they don't fight. Cats can also live a long, healthy life with FIV. Please email azcatrescue@yahoo.com for more info on JJ.
