Hi, my name is Greta. I am a 1 year old red nose pit bull. I am a sweet mellow gal. I am good with kids and other dogs just not cats. When I was 5-6 weeks old I was found in a box taped shut next to a dumpster on the Westside. After that I contracted Parvo and recovered from that. Then my foster mom noticed I walked funny and she found out that I need double Hip Surgery. I am recovering from Hip surgery and I am moving around very well now. I was found as a stray so my manners weren't the best but my foster mom is working with me. I love to play with other dogs but I do play pretty rough. I am kennel trained as I have been known to chew on things that I shouldn't. I am housebroken and know how to use a dog door. I have been neutered, am current on all my shots and I am microchipped. This adorable boy’s name is Little D (short for Little Dog)! We saved Little D from the county shelter where they were about to put him down because he was fearful. Heck, wouldn’t anyone be scared in that place! We are so happy we saved Little D, as he’s so happy and a really nice boy! He is one year old and we believe he is an Italian Greyhound and Rat Terrier mix. He has the body of an Italian Greyhound, but the face of a Rat Terrier and really a personality of the two! Either way – we think he’s just as cute as can be! Little D is a very small guy and probably only weighs about 7 pounds or so. He is a bit on the thin side, so the extra eating he is doing now is good – but he certainly won’t grow much at all. Little D is good with other dogs and would love to have another doggie sister or brother to play with. We are not sure how he would be around kitties.
