Sasha1.JPG
Sasha
Sasha is a cute, petite lynx point Siamese mix kitten with huge blue eyes, born in late August 2016.  She likes to run and play with her toys and her feline friends -- she is sure all kitties are her friends.  She likes attention but it does take her some time to warm up and approach people.  She will snuggle when you pick her up though.  Children under 5 make her nervous, but she lets older children pick her up and hold her.  (She hadn't met children until a few weeks ago.)  Sasha likes to climb the cat tree and she's great about using the cat scratchers.  She has fun with all kinds of toys and LOVES canned food (she eats dry food too, of course).  She has been spayed, has tested negative for Felv and FIV, is current on her vaccinations and has an identification micro-chip.  If you are interested in adopting Sasha, please fill out the cat consultation form (on the website www.desertpawsrescue.org) or email tomdru1422@yahoo.com.

Misskitty3.JPG
Miss Kitty
Miss Kitty (aka Misty) is a sweet Seal Point Siamese mix kitty born in 2011.  She was taken in by a couple when she was just 5 weeks old.  Two years ago her mom passed away and earlier this year her dad had to move into a care facility.  Miss Kitty did not understand what happened.  Her foster family has helped her regroup and she is now ready for a new home.  We are looking for a quiet household for her as that is what she know best -- it will take her a bit to settle into her new home.  She is an undemanding, quiet, gentle kitty that is quite independent.  She likes to play and entertains herself with her toys. -- catnip toys are her favorite.   She likes climbing on her kitty tree and going in and out of her kitty cube.  She also likes lounging on her window perch to look out the window.  At first she was happiest in her "safe" room but now spends more and more of her time out with the family.  She prefers to not be picked up and wants you to wait so she can come to you for attention.   She is happy to rub up against your feet and legs and have you pet her -- when she is resting she likes you to scratch her neck and is content to be cuddled like a baby.  She likes dry food and loves treats -- she gets so excited when she hears the treat bag open.  She has already been spayed, has tested negative for FELV and FIV (feline immune virus), has an identification micro-chip, and is current on her vaccinations.  If you are interested in giving Miss Kitty a new home, please fill out the cat consultation form (on the website www.desertpawsrescue.org) or email desertkc3@cox.net for more information.
