Pedro
Pedro is a handsome black kitty born in January 2013.  It takes him a little time to settle in but once he does he is a happy friendly guy that likes attention and is happy to be talked to and pet.  He likes to play with his toys .. games you can play together are fun but if you are not available he can entertain himself just fine.  He is an undemanding boy that loves hanging out on his kitty tree and looking out the window.   He does ok with other kitties but he does not like dogs -- he may even enjoy being an only pet.  He does fine with older kids but little ones scare him.  He has already been neutered, has tested negative for FELV and FIV (feline immune virus), has an identification micro-chip, and is current on his vaccinations.  If you are interested in Pedro, please fill out the cat consultation form (on the website www.desertpawsrescue.org) or email hhfwcr@outlook.com

Slinky15.JPG
Slinky -- 3 legs
Slinky is a sweet grey tabby kitty born in late December 2015.  Desert Paws rescued her from the shelter -- she was taken there because she was limping on her back leg.  Examination and x-rays indicated that she had been shot with a pellet gun.  She had shrapnel throughout her hip and leg that caused a lot of pain and had become infected.  After antibiotics and other medical care didn't heal her properly, it was determined that her leg had to be amputated.  Slinky recovered quickly like the trooper she is, in good spirits.  She gets around just fine on 3 legs!  She is an active kitty that loves to play -- she likes games you can play together but is fine playing by herself as well.  She loves her wand toys that she can bat around and any toys that she can chase.  She is a friendly girl that likes to be around people .. she does fine with other kitties and is ok with dogs.  She has been spayed, tested negative for FELV and FIV (feline immune virus), has an identification micro-chip, and is current on her vaccinations.  If you are interested in giving Slinky her forever home, please fill out the cat consultation form (on the website www.desertpawsrescue.org) or email tomdru1422@yahoo.com
