Pet of the Week: No
Dwight is a very handsome solid white cat with blue eyes (he is not deaf, as is somewhat common in white cats with blue eyes). He is a total lovebug and quite submissive, so he gets along with all the other cats in his foster home - male and female. He's even taken on the role of surrogate father/brother to a litter of kittens. They all snuggle with him when it's time for nap. A couple of them even try to nurse on Dwight's tummy - and he lets them! Dwight has impeccable manners around the house - he always uses the litter box (and doesn't mind sharing), he "goes to town" on the sisal rope vertical scratcher and the turbo scratcher, and he doesn't jump on counters or tables. He's a perfect kitty in many ways. He'll make a wonderful addition to a lucky family. Dwight has already been neutered, has tested negative for FELV and FIV (feline immune virus), has an identification micro-chip, and is current on his vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting Dwight, please fill out the cat consultation form (on the website www.desertpawsrescue.org) or email hadleyd@cox.net.
