Joey is an extremely friendly solid black kitty, born on August 16, 2011.  He gets along great with all the cats and kittens in his foster home and especially with the 3 large dogs.  He loves to bump his head on their chins or when he feels like resting, snuggle with them (playing with their tails is lots of fun too!).  Joey has access to the whole house and has a perfect record for finding/using the litter box.  He's great about using the scratching post but especially loves scratching on the cardboard in the middle of his turbo scratcher.  He's very outgoing and playful and has fun with all kinds of toys.  He also loves to be held and snuggle on your lap while you watch TV - but turn up the volume - his purr is very loud!  He's a real sweetie and his new family will be lucky to have him.  Joey has already been neutered, has tested negative for FELV and FIV (feline immune virus), has an identification micro-chip, and is current on his vaccinations.  If you are interested in giving Joey his forever home, please fill out the cat consultation form (on the website www.desertpawsrescue.org) or email hadleyd@cox.net.
