Pet of the Week: No
Juliet is a super sweet calico kitty with unusual markings, including an orange spot on the top of her head. She was probably born in early 2010. Juliet was left behind in a neighborhood, but we sure don’t know why! She’s been a great “guest” in her foster home, getting along instantly with all the cats and kittens, and especially with the large cat-friendly dogs. She’s happy to sit on your lap, purring quietly. She likes to be brushed and doesn’t mind getting her nails clipped. She’s playful (likes catnip!) and has learned to scratch in the appropriate places – a carpeted cat tree and a horizontal cardboard scratcher. She doesn’t care for canned food, so that makes her even easier to take care of! If you’re looking for an easy-going, extremely friendly, all-around wonderful kitty companion who will love to keep you company, Juliet is the girl for you. She has already been spayed, has tested negative for FELV and FIV (feline immune virus), has an identification micro-chip, and is current on her vaccinations. If you are interested in adopting her, please fill out the cat consultation form (on the website www.desertpawsrescue.org) or email hadleyd@cox.net.
