Maya is a beautiful 12 week old black tabby, “special needs” kitten.  “Maya” was named and is being sponsored by Madison H of Brownie Troop # 2178.  She is a very playful and loving kitten who loves to be cuddled and coddled.  She puts the “purr” in personality.  She was found wandering the streets alone and fortunately was able to find her way to Desert Paws Rescue.  Maya tested positive for the feline leukemia virus (FeLV) so she will have to be in a home with other FeLV positive cats or be an only cat.  “Maya” has already been spayed, has tested negative for FIV (feline immune virus), has an identification micro-chip, and is current on her vaccinations.  If you are interested in giving “Maya” her forever home, please fill out the cat consultation form (on the website www.desertpawsrescue.org) or email hadleyd@cox.net.
