Pet of the Week: No
Little Marilyn (Monroe) was named for her beauty mark that adds to her charm and sweetness. She was found abandoned in a rental home whose tenants had moved out in the middle of the night. She is spayed and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV. She has excellent litterbox manners and uses the scratching post. She can be a bit shy with new people and other cats, so it may take her awhile to warm up and become comfortable. Marilyn loves to chat with you when you pet her and loves to be brushed.
She loves drinking water straight out of the fountain, and run to the sink when you enter the bathroom so she can play with the drips. She also has an affinity for catnip toys. Marilyn needs to stay an INDOOR only cat for her safety (she won't even use the dog door that she has access to and shows no interest in going outside). Marilyn is a polite little Miss, and would love a forever home to call her own!! **Marilyn politely requests that she keep her claws, if you are looking to declaw, please consider adopting an already declawed homeless kitty. Please email cats@desertpawsrescue.org to adopt Marilyn.
