This sweet, cute girl is Ivy. Ivy was rescued from the county pound where her days to find a home were running out. We immediately noticed her sweet demeanor, gentle personality and loving looks she gave us. We are so happy we saved her as she is such an awesome dog! We are positive she must have been loved by a family at some time as she knows so many things and truly aims to please. Ivy is housebroken, is very good in the house, is good with other dogs, does not jump on you, she knows sit, shake and down, she is fine with being crated and goes right in, likes to follow her people but is not needy, is good about staying off the furniture and she loves to sleep on a doggie bed on the floor next to the bed. Oh, she also likes to go in the pool, lay on the first step and cool herself down.

She did swim a bit – but it seems like she prefers to go in just to cool off. She plays very well with her foster brothers and sisters. Ivy is also a quiet girl and you never really hear a peep from her. Ivy truly wants to please you and looks for what you want of her. She is a perfect age at 4 years old – so no puppy stage to go through with her. We believe she is a Pit Bull mix with possibly some Dalmatian in there too. She is pretty petite and weighs just around 40 pounds. Although she is on the skinny side now, we don’t believe she will fill out too much more. This girl is going to make some lucky family very happy – what a great dog! If you are interested in Ivy, please contact her foster mom at azdesertdogz@cox.net
