TIA HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!

These adorable girls are Tia and Peanut.  They were found all alone in the desert in an area where they were truly in danger of coyotes, as the area is filled with them.  We do not know where their mom was or if there were any other siblings.  Luckily they were saved by two dog lovers and taken to safety.  At first, they did not even know what dog food was and only wanted table scraps.  Most likely they were born as strays and not brought up in a home environment.  In the beginning they were very scared, did not act like normal puppies and they even slept for two days straight.  With love and attention these two have truly blossomed and are now happy-go-lucky , bouncy, playful, loving puppies!

Tia and Peanut are just about 3 ½ months old and we believe them to be German Shepherd mixes.  However, they both appear petite and small and will most likely not grow as large as a full sized German Shepherd – rather we guess they will look like mini German Shepherds and probably weigh around 25 pounds or so full grown.   They are both very smart and have already learned how to use the doggie door, are good about being crated and although not completely housetrained, they are learning very quickly.  They love to play with other dogs and although they like to chase cats, they do so in a puppy playful way.  They would be good with older children, as they may jump on smaller kids.  These sweet, cute girls are looking for a loving home to call their own.  Could you be their family?  If you are interested in Tia or Peanut, please email their foster mom at  meyeriowa92@yahoo.com and she would be happy to tell you all about them!
